A Blessing and Ribbon Cutting Ceremony was held on Saturday, October 15th for the Sacred Heart Home project in Hyattsville, MD. Designed by Hord Coplan Macht, this project included the new construction of a 62,000 SF nursing home with 44 beds, a basement service level, a courtyard, and a 1,700 SF chapel with 60 seats and sacristy. A 9,000 SF convent was also built with 11 bedrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, private chapel, and an exterior covered walkway.
Sacred Heart Home is an intermediate long-term care residence. The facility is operated by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate.
