Morgan-Keller Construction was recently awarded Magnolia Center in Lanham, MD. The Magnolia Center is a new 72,700 SF one-story building located on a site immediately adjacent to Doctors Community Hospital in Lanham, MD. A total of 130 patient beds will be provided in both private and semi-private rooms. The facility will be comprised of a transitional care unit and a long term care unit. Each unit contains nursing stations, dayrooms, dining rooms, and other support spaces. The center section of the building contains a large therapy space, other patient support spaces, a lobby/reception area, administrative offices, a central kitchen, and other staff support spaces.
The Owner is Magnolia Gardens Real Estate LLC of Lanham, MD, the Developer is the Sachuest Group of Annapolis, MD, and the Architect is CR Goodman Associates, LLC of Annapolis, MD. Construction is expected to begin in March 2014 and finish in March 2015.
