Morgan-Keller Commercial Facilities Maintenance (MKCFM) recently completed structural repairs in Historic Fells Point in Baltimore, MD where the exterior storefront of a popular retail space had collapsed. A temporary wall was constructed inside the store to allow its tenant to continue to run their business while the repairs were completed. The building façade was removed, and structural repairs were made to the heavy timber columns and beams and the foundation of the building, before being built back to match the existing design. Due to the historic nature of the building, trim, windows signage, and facia was carefully removed, repurposed, and reused to preserve the integrity of the building.
