Sustainable Construction

The Morgan-Keller Construction team is committed to sustainable construction. Morgan-Keller has Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Accredited Professionals on staff, as well as experience with many LEED Accredited Projects. LEED, a green building rating system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), is the current industry measure for developing high-performance, sustainable buildings. It underscores strategies for sustainable site development, water efficiency, energy savings, materials selection, and indoor environmental quality.

Sustainable projects require a familiarity with assembling the required LEED documentation in order to submit and achieve certification. The professionals at Morgan-Keller Construction understand:

  • The chain of command process for Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) certified lumber materials
  • The need to work hand-in-hand with the design team to ensure we are achieving the intended credits and prerequisites
  • The multiple Construction Management Plans required by USGBC
